In And Out Of Judgement

Fear is paralyzing. Fear prevents us from moving forward with our dreams, goals, and desires. Fear blocks the heart from expanding, loving fully, and feeling pure joy. Fear evokes discomfort into the cellular structure of our bodies and minds. Fear rips apart the cohesive structures and fabric of our souls—even the bonds of entire families and societies. Fear blocks. Fear stifles. Fear keeps us in judgment of others. Fear darkens the soul and snuffs out “the light.” (Emphasis added.) (Excerpt from The Light That Shines Through The Fields of Fear.)

The experience for many who sit in judgment of others, do so because they are insecure about the thought of how others view them.  This is the lesson of the mirror - reflective energy. This reflective energy shows itself in a variety of ways.  From the people we interact with on a daily basis such as friends and family, to those we work with, or meet on the street by happenstance. A discussion on Reflective Energy is forthcoming – stay tuned!

For the sake of this post, I would like to focus attention to the fear-based energy of judgment; judgment of others and self-judgment.  Did you know that the energy of judgment can lead to self-destructive behaviors, such as addictions? Sadly, individuals bound by addiction don’t realize judgment is the culprit that must be done away with in order to be accepting of oneself and then accepting of others.

Judgment is oppression. Judgment is limiting. Judgment boomerangs.  Judgment is essentially the emotional poison to negativity. We become consumed in this thought pattern mostly because we allow ourselves (our minds) to do so and it pulls us in like quicksand. Lying in judgment of others restricts growth because you are now measured in the same way as you have measured others. Gossip is judgment. We are actually taught this behavior, subliminally as children, when we are watching others, and listening to conversations.

Breaking the cycle of judgment requires doing away with all preconceived thought and ideas of others. Being non-judgmental equates to acceptance. Acceptance of oneself and then others. It isn't until one can fully embrace him and/or herself that allows perfect freedom to accept the culturally and/or socially diverse society we live in. It is impossible to know what lies in the heart of any person. How then can this individual be measured (judged) accordingly?

When we truly learn to love, live, accept, embrace, and honor we will find that fear dissipates from our souls and our emotions and thoughts run free (unclogged) to grow, to receive positive energy and light. And herein is where we flourish! It’s is exactly here where we want to be.
