So You Thought You Were Conscious...Really? Transformational Thinking

Okay, so I know The American Heritage Dictionary, thing is going to get old.  I am purposely using the definitions as a way to explore the exact meaning of a word without putting any kind of spin on it.  The purpose for this is that “WORDS HAVE POWER.”  The very definition of the world unconscious is: “1. Not accessible to the conscious part of the mind. 2 a. Temporarily lacking awareness. b. Not informed. 3 Without conscious control; involuntary; the part of the mind that operates without conscious awareness and that cannot be directly observed.”
Conscious is defined as, “1 a. Having an awareness of one’s own existence and environment. b. Capable of complex response to environment; c. Not asleep; awake. 2. Subjectively known: conscious remorse. 3. Intentional; deliberate.
Consciousness-raising is defined as, “1. A process of achieving greater awareness of one’s needs in order to fulfill one’s potential as an individual. 2. A technique whereby one is made aware.”
So, how do we bring consciousness to the unconscious? Or stated another way, how do we bring awareness to the unaware?
The question seems simple on its face; however, the ability to bring awareness to the unaware is not always an easy task, due to perceptions and conditioning which occur early in life.  These conditionings and perceptions give way to self-limiting mind chatter that is powerful enough to stop us in our tracks.
Some of us get stuck. We get stuck in a place we do not desire to be. We have an awareness of sorts that pops up and says, “What are you doing here?” or “How did I get here.” More importantly, you may be saying, “I can see my life in this dream (or a certain way) and for whatever reason, we just cannot seem to get there.
When you think of conscious/awareness, what comes to mind for you?  Do you feel like your soul is saying, “Hey – this is not where I belong.”  Or maybe when you are in the stillness and the void (if you allow yourself to go there, you may hear, “What am I doing here?  How will I get out of this?”
Awareness can mean many things to many people.  Sometimes the awareness leads us down a path that we do not want to go (i.e., self-medicating.)  Other times, the light goes off and we say, “Ah Hah!”
What are your beliefs about consciousness and awareness? Do you define it differently than what has been presented here? Do you feel like you are aware?  I would love to read your comments regarding this subject.

Dwelling in the Sea of Possibilities

I am dwelling in the sea of life.  The sea of life is ever changing, ever creating.  As I dwell on this joyous thing called life, I call into it many adventures and experiences.

I dwell on the trip to Ireland to see the castles.  I dwell on the trip to Delphi, Greece, to sit and be.  This will be a return home for me of sorts, from another lifetime.

I dwell in the creation of a trip to Machu Pichu, to hike the Andes and to visit one of the marvels of the world.  I dwell in the creation of a trip to the natural water park of Croatia.

I dwell in the creation of living my life’s purpose; to live a life in service to mankind - helping others balance out their energy fields, bringing forth a higher level of consciousness.

I dwell in the creation of living my life’s purpose; to live a life in service to mankind – helping others free themselves from the bondage of fear and fear based energies, rooted in greed, guilt, shame and self-doubt.

I dwell in the creation of living my life’s purpose; to live a life in service to mankind – assisting others in finding their life’s purpose, to live a freer, fuller, more expansive expression of themselves, and to live the life they were intended to live – the life of their dreams!

We are all here on this earth for a purpose.  I am beyond blessed to know what mine is.

Take time to dwell in the sea of life today.  Breathe that life through you, bring it all in and give appreciation for all of it – without judgment.  Grow from the love and the lessons of life, with gratitude.

Now here's something I want you to ponder; give serious thought to this question: Do you know what your life’s purpose is?  If no, how do you go about finding out? Do you want to find out?

The Evolution Is Coming, The Evolution Is Coming…

One of the definitions of the word “evolution” as found in The American Heritage Dictionary, 1983, states: “2. Biol. The theory that groups or organisms such as species my change or develop over a long period of time so that descendants differ morphologically and physiologically from their ancestors.”

It is time for an EVOLUTION, not a revolution. Look around, the world is in chaos, and people are in despair.  Our ancestors lived in that same world of war, hunger, depletion, limited growth and limited thoughts, as we have.   It is the year 2015.  The time has come to release and let go of what no longer serves you and to move into your calling… a life of greatness… a life of love.

We need to let go of all of the excuses and stories we have been holding onto.  It is time to stand up and make a difference in your own life, and in the world in which you live.

Did you know that everything that goes on in your life is a direct result/response to the energy thought that you put out?

If you knew beyond a doubt that you could co-create your life, would you do it?  If so, would you strive to make it better?  Would you believe you are co-creator in your life to this point?

What would you change?  I would love to hear back from some of you as to how your perfect life and world would look, if you could waive a magic wand and create your word anew.
